About our St. Albans Pre-School
Having reached this stage of their development the Brock House children begin to explore the world about them in more depth. While individual topics of interest are undertaken during the year our highly experienced staff place a great deal of attention on building the childrens life skills. These range from a healthy life style; diet, exercise, how the body works; to transport – how we can best move from place to place, what skills this involves; to positive behaviour – how we treat others, good manners, recognising and accepting difference.
Outdoor visits continue and expand to include St. Albans Museum, and Strathmore House where the children enthusiastically meet up with equally enthusiastic senior citizens. About Bouncy Badgers: 3-4 Years OldBouncy Badgers is always a very busy room, and you will often find an array of different play and learning activities happening simultaneously. With at least one member of nursery staff to six Pre-School children, Brock House Nursery can ensure that each and every child receives the help and guidance they deserve and need to develop and progress towards their transition to school.
Our Pre-School children join together for outdoor play, and Bouncy Badgers take lunch in their own room. Brock House follows the same learning and development planning from babies through to school leavers. With an individual child learning plan based around their interests, parental input, and great attention to learning and development needs, we endeavour to ensure that every child in our care reaches their individual potential.
